ShortStuff: Little Plays, Big Stories, brought together three zinging shorts for an evening of evocative theatre. It comprised of BED OF FOXGLOVES and COMING HOME, both originally staged at Theatre 503, and CLOSER TO GOD, winner of the Off Cut Festival 2009. Never shy of a challenge, WAP tackled themes of isolation, discrimination, brutality, obsession, love and loss, in these three small but perfectly formed plays. Accompanied, as always, with a big dollop of dark humour. ShortStuff was performed at Waterloo East Theatre, January 2011 as part of a rep season with BENDER.
